De-stressed and Feeling Fresh

After 3 days away chilling out on a beautiful, sandy beach I am finally feeling fully relaxed. I didn't realise how refreshing it can be to get away for a bit, breath in some fresh air and re-charge your metaphorical batteries; so this getaway was seriously appreciated! 

On my break it dawned on me just how significant silence can be in our lives, and how lacking this is in our day to day routines. I don't know about you, but I struggle to find peace alone from the rush of daily life and my ever buzzing phone. So, the stillness of the wind, bird song and waves edged away my stress and tension, allowing me to fully unwind. It's disheartening to see how difficult it is to find silence in our hectic lives, but in an effort to try and stay de-stressed I'm going to attempt to incorporate some silence, and some me time, into my life. 

In my time away I was also able to take lots of pictures, so I thought I'd share some of my favourites with you.
